Good job

Good job on the song. I marked it as best as I could to fit the song. Your filtering effect and slow intro to the melody with a background was nice beginning. The clap you brought in though I felt could have had a little more resonance. I like the bass you brought in at :43 but it seemed to kinda overpower the kick so maybe turn it down slighty I don't know. The melody was great. I like the part you added at 3:00 min a little fast arp but I never got to hear that much of it, it added a nice touch but it seemed to limited. To summarize, your arrangments were great and prevented any part from getting too repetative; your filtering was also good to along with it. You have the notes and theory down pack here so I can tell you put some time into it. Just bring somethings out a little more you have some great sounds don't let bass drown any of it out and don't hold back on the good stuff. Thats just my opinion hope it was of some help. Thanks for the review, you are very helpful. This is only a sample of the whole song, which i am still working on. If you were to hear the rest of it, you would hear some more of the arpeggios and fast licks. Hit me up with an email if you would like to hear it when I finish.

Here is my review

It's alright. The main problem I have with it is the drumming. Your beat was good and it fit the song but it wasn't very different from the defaults which just made the song hard to stand out from other songs I have heard on newgrounds. I would suggest using more effects on them. Your lead just got a little repetative to my liking but thats me I would suggest using some more arps, gates stuff like that. Other than that your beat was good, the arrangments made sense and it looped easily good job. First things first; hello! And thank you for that review!

The guitar tone in the beginning is very sleek, very nicely put together. The "glitches" that I hear in it sure make it sound like you put quite a bit of work into the intro, which always makes me happy.

You have a great beginning, and then this sound effect that sounds like the drums and everything should immediately follow after, probably with a really nice bassline. But, I had to wait another 8 bars or so before the drums came in... no bassline though. Add more instruments at break-ins, it makes the song seem that much more dramatic :D

This song is very dirty, very demented... but it seems like it belongs in space. Or in an acid trip. Whichever comes first, lol.

Good work, I thoughrougly enjoyed this track :) You did a good job on it!

When me and my bud get another song finished, I'll be sure to keep you posted so you can check it out :)

Yeah, this is one of those spooky, spacey, be-patient kind of songs. Whenever I try to remember it, I actually can't, because it's so waaaaaaaaaay off from the style of songs I normally make and listen to. XD

Oh man, I can't get over how minimal this is! This is something so... so... awesome! So minimalistic! So "I'm a gremlin who doesn't take shit from anyone", you know? I could have this going for hours upon hours, man. Awesome ambient/industrial stuff.

What can I say, this truely is techno. Even though I am persuaded to believe that not too much of the distortion present in the track is intentional :( Speed up the techno a bit so its good and dancey, and add some more random percussion.

Then you, my friend, would have a techno club hit :D Good stuff. I actually enjoyed it a lot, even though it was a short loop. Keep it up! 10'd and 5'd.

Very retro! I love that feel, by the way. This reminds me of the good old days when I played those SNES RPGs and stuff like that :) Very nice "wood like" instrument backing up the entire track, it adds a great feel to the mix. Seriously, I wanna go play some games now :O

Overall, you guys did great. Awesome backgrounds, superb mastering, and a seriously chilled melody. Sick. 10'd, 5'd, the whole works :D I hope you guys go far with this.

Remix, eh? I've never heard the original, so I can only really comment on your instrument choice :(

I liked the beginning of the song, the toms and everything gave a nice battle/badass feel. Like, you are in the middle of a warzone or something.

Everything in this song is great, but that dirty lead synth you have is too loud. Don't get me wrong, I love my dirty synths. But, when they are loud enough to make you think that there is distortion in the mastering of the track, you need to turn it down :(

Other than that, you did good! I could see this being used in a movie soon, just you wait :)

Thanks, I reviewed your song, it was very nicely done XD. Yeah, the lead in this wasn't the best choice. I was trying to figure out how to "clean it up" before i posted it, but figured just leave it out it is. I wish it was crisper, and yes, quieter. I wear a headset at all times, so what you hear and what i hear are totally different things, but i do think the lead is far too loud, and not crisp enough. Maybe an octave up could have cleaned it a little.
