"Feel-Good Paranoia"

That is one oxymoron of a name. Paranoia is a feeling that makes you queasy in the stomache and constately aware of your surroundings in an abnormal and unhealthy way, and the "feel good" part implicates that the said person enjoys the sickening feeling.

Excellent name, I seriously must tell you that.

To the song though; I like that equally as much. This is one hell of a piece of glitch/trip music. Lots of screwed up melodies and arrangments. I can't get over how diverse this is, and that is just what makes this song great. I love the distorted drum work and the demented piano and strings riffs. Amazing work.

I loved this song, to be honest with you. Keep this stuff up, its really neat :) 10'd and 5'd!

Extremely low bit rate. You might wanna improve on the entire quality of the song, but other than that, its actually a pretty good piece of DNB. Just make the quality higher and don't change the tempo so dramatically through the entire song :)

"A Frantic Fate"

Very nice name; it paints a hopeful picture for me.

The beginning is very "Benny Benassi" esque, you know? Very nice saw wave bassline and low freq. bass drum. This song sure is a good piece of techno.

Especially when the scratches came in with that weird synth, the song came along much better. I like this song, actually... no critizm from me, you'll hear.

Good work on this. I could see this song being blasted on some sweet sound systems :) 10'd and 5'd, keep this style up!

[C13 - Dance Floor]

"Dance Floor"

Nice beginning. I liked the trance arp... it just gave you that trance feel, eh? Beautifully executed :)

The kick and the bassline after that just gave me the "Oh man this is quite the fuckin' trance song". Made me bob my head, thats for sure.

The only thing in this entire beautiful trance track that I had problems with is the snare roll sample that you used. Its an 808 snare sample, and its short and tinny... try using a 909 snare sample instead. Its longer, lower, less tinny, and it gives much better of a trance feel.

Great work! I was expecting a bit more of a progression though, maybe you could work on an awesome melody for your next trance song :) 10'd, and 5'd! Keep this up!

"Staub"

Kind of catchy, in its own way. I liked the little stabs in the backround and the chior melody, but the bassline could have been more steady, you know? I don't like moving basslines that much (unless if its Goa Trance) because they sound kind of silly. Try to come up with a bassline that fits the key signature, and it makes your head bob :)

As for the drums, I wouldn't use FL loops. Try making your own drum loops; its much more fun that way! Trust me :)

You are gonna be good soon, I can tell you that. Keep this up, and you'll impress everyone here very soon. 10'd, and 5'd :)

Quite the title you have here. I had to wrap my tongue around that one :P

This is a very nice song, to be completely honest with you. The only thing I don't like about it is the contrast between the synths and the drums. The synths are great and smooth (perfectly executed too, by the way. Great work there) and the drums are glitchy and... dirty. Almost sounds like they are distorting a bit. They would sound a lot better if they were turned down a little, since I actually like the feel that they add to the song.

Hmm, infectious, eh? I'm hoping for some nice hard techno. Well, its a little happy for me, but its still good and all that. It sounds a little random, if you know what I mean. Listen to some more techno/trance, and get a feel for how the professionals arrange their songs. Don't be afraid to try something that sounds like it won't work :) Remember, the song is YOURS, so make it sound as PERFECT as you want. Don't give up till you get the sound you want :)

Good job

Good job on the song. I marked it as best as I could to fit the song. Your filtering effect and slow intro to the melody with a background was nice beginning. The clap you brought in though I felt could have had a little more resonance. I like the bass you brought in at :43 but it seemed to kinda overpower the kick so maybe turn it down slighty I don't know. The melody was great. I like the part you added at 3:00 min a little fast arp but I never got to hear that much of it, it added a nice touch but it seemed to limited. To summarize, your arrangments were great and prevented any part from getting too repetative; your filtering was also good to along with it. You have the notes and theory down pack here so I can tell you put some time into it. Just bring somethings out a little more you have some great sounds don't let bass drown any of it out and don't hold back on the good stuff. Thats just my opinion hope it was of some help. Thanks for the review, you are very helpful. This is only a sample of the whole song, which i am still working on. If you were to hear the rest of it, you would hear some more of the arpeggios and fast licks. Hit me up with an email if you would like to hear it when I finish.

Here is my review

It's alright. The main problem I have with it is the drumming. Your beat was good and it fit the song but it wasn't very different from the defaults which just made the song hard to stand out from other songs I have heard on newgrounds. I would suggest using more effects on them. Your lead just got a little repetative to my liking but thats me I would suggest using some more arps, gates stuff like that. Other than that your beat was good, the arrangments made sense and it looped easily good job. I always liked Doom, so lets see if you did the game justice :)

Nice beginning. Very basic with the guitar, even though you could have added your own touch to the music. Like, start off the song with a low string sound, and when you break in those drums, make those strings play chords or something so that it compliments the song to make it more badass :)

Other than that, you did a good job! I really enjoyed it, keep this stuff up! 10'd and 5'd :)
